Six, six, etc...

Happy Halloween! Now, put those costumes from Friday back on and go get some candy/drunk... or crunk (which I believe means "candy drunk").

Thisucks. Thisucks. Thisucks. Thisucks...

Another zine?! YES!

Speaking of zines, have I ever told you I made a zine.... TWO zines, to be correct. Let me tell you all about them.

(long winded story about being bored at work, scribbling on paper, and writing bad words goes here.)

Anyway, I am also selling this little puppy (I am using puppy as slang. I am not selling a dog.) and it could be all yours! Like the last zine, this is only $2.

$2!!!!!!! with free shipping!!!!!!

That is less than a PBR!

If you are interested in sending me your money, I will send you a zine. Just contact me and let's make this thing happen.

Balls, balls, balls, balls, balls, balls...

Oh, did I ever mention I made a zine? No? Well, let me tell you all about it!

A friend, Adam, and I were bored one evening and decided to go to the public library and lock ourselves in one of those sound-proof study rooms. We were armed with a typewriter (I know! A typewriter?! Libraries are AMAZING!) and some pens. We went a little insane but had a lot of fun making scribbles and editing them all together to make a book.

If you want to buy this little fella, I am still selling them for the low price of $2 with FREE SHIPPING!

If interested, contact me.

Workin' late.

A drawing from 111 Minna's Sketch Tuesday event. What?! I felt like drawing a butt!

October 21, 2010

Blue Moleskine (pages 14 - 15)

More drawings. Word.

October 20, 2010

Blue Moleskine (pages 11 - 13)

A triple-shot of drawings! I've always wondered (well, not really, this is a lie) is it weird for bacon to eat bacon? Cannibal bacon?

October 19, 2010

Blue Moleskine (pages 9 - 10)

Kind of sad when you realize how low your life has gotten when you start talking to a banana. Also, the TV drawing was made into a painting. BOOM!

Beach Party!

WHOAH! What is this?!?!

Well, in honor of beach week at work (basically a fellow worker and I started to come into work one week dressed in ridiculous beach-wear) and called it beach week. By the time Friday came around, we decided we would unofficially throw a beach week party at work. My job was to make a playlist and some fliers. Here is the flier.

Happy Monday!

October 17, 2010

Blue Moleskine (pages 7 - 8)

Zombies, beer goggles and vikings. What an adventure!!! Another few pages of drawings made on the Muni.

October 16, 2010

Blue Moleskine (pages 5 - 6)

Some nice, chaotic drawings from the muni.

October 15, 2010

Blue Moleskine (pages 1 - 4)

More sketchbooks! Another cover!!!! Well, a cover and a few other pages. So, the story with the messed up corners is, basically, there were some water damages to this sketchbook. Luckily most of the artwork is fine but a few drawings are messed up. Anyway, enjoy the start of the blue-pen-sketchbook!

What?!

WHAT?!

Here's a little drawing I did at work. I had a few minutes of free time and scribbled this in photoshop. COLORS!

The End.

Red Sketchbook (page 29)

Well, friend, this is the last of the Red Sketchbook. No more. But, don't you fear, someday I will get another one and make more fun sketches like this. Anyway, this was a little different from my other pages... can you see what is different? I hope so. I decided to put the gray tone markers away for a day and try water color out on this book. The paper was strong enough to take all the paint's abuse (which was a lot) and here is the end result.

Stay tuned now for the next set of sketchbooks.

Oh, and as an added bonus, here is a comic of my life.

October 12, 2010

Red Sketchbook (pages 27 - 28)

Uh-oh! We are nearing the end of the red skechbook series! Well, don't be too afraid, I have more sketchbooks and art to submit after this. But, before you begin fearing the end of this book, take time to enjoy these last few pages. Can you spot where my pen ran out and I got a new one.

October 11, 2010

Red Sketchbook (pages 25 - 26)

How many times have you been told to "go crush it!"? None? Never? ....Really? Wow- if I had to guess I have been told to do so at least 30 times. At least. Hmmm, it must be a local thing. Anyway, I hope you are enjoying all the sketchbook updates. Don't be afraid to follow my blog and read it on one of your favorite RSS readers!

October 10, 2010

Red Sketchbook (pages 23 - 24)

One of the first times I wrote "Yum Me" for something. My, how its been a while! Also you can see one of the sillier drawings I used to make in college of a hand turkey eating ice cream. I think this is where all of my ice cream drawings stemmed from. Maybe?

October 9, 2010

Red Sketchbook (pages 21 - 22)

MORE RED SKETCHBOOK! Here are pages 21 and 22. These are a bit old as you can see by the "I live in the ocean" comment which meant that I lived in the Sunset near the ocean. Not too much fun out there. Also, there is an early form of on of my overly-drawn characters. Originally, he was designed to have an eye patch and cross bones on his chest but, over the years, he has lost both.

Red Sketchbook

Well, much like yesterday, I have found some free time to scan/edit/upload some old artwork. Here are some more scans from my red sketchbook from 2008-2009ish. I scanned and posted the first 18 pages about a year or so ago on tonypapesh.com. After a long break, I have decided it was time to post to thrilling conclusion to the book! Here is the cover (nothing special, but I feel it gives a mental image of the actual book) as well as the next few pages.

Expect more soon!

Another day in the sun.

Here is a collection of drawings made on a sunny day in a San Francisco park. (September 26, 2010). I scanned the entire book and this is only a small sampling. The rest can be seen on my flickr page. Enjoy!
